Welcome to the Empower Campus Ministry Tenants page. Here you can submit requests to reserve the Community Room or a maintenance request. Complete the forms below and a member of the Empower staff will be in touch with you to confirm receipt of your request.

Community Room Features

Here is a list of the main features of the Community Room. If your event requires anything not listed below (i.e., more tables or chairs), please mention that in the Special Needs & Requests section of the room reservation form. We will see if we have access to those items.

  • Dimensions: 44 feet wide X 35 feet deep (approximately 1,540 sq ft)

  • 10 rectangular tables (8 feet long)

  • 9 round tables (5 feet in diameter)

  • 4 fold-in-half tables (6 feet long)

  • 2 fold-in-half tables (4 feet long)

  • 100-plus chairs

  • Wireless internet

  • Whiteboard (72 inches wide X 48 inches high)

  • 84-inch video screen for audio/visual purposes – HDMI cable provided

Community Room Reservation Request

Please complete the form below to submit your request to reserve the Community Room. Please check the calendar below to ensure the date and time you are requesting are available.

Selecting a Times for Your Event:
On the room reservation form below, you will be asked for your event's start and end times. You will also be asked for a time when you would like to start setting up for your event and a time for when you will be finished cleaning up after your event. For example, your agency has a lunch from noon to 1 p.m. and you will need 30 minutes to set up before the lunch and 30 minutes to clean up afterward. Here’s what that request would look like:

Event Start Time: Noon
Event End Time: 1 pm
Time Would You Like to Start Setting Up for the Event: 11:30 am
Time Will You Be Finished Cleaning Up for the Event: 1:30 pm

Using this example, the events calendar will show the Community Room reserved from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Tenant Responsibilities:

Tenants are responsible for setting up tables and chairs for their event, but they do not need to put them away after the event. Tenants are asked to make the room presentable for the next group by wiping off tables, cleaning the whiteboard, putting away the HDMI cord for the TV, making sure doors and windows are locked, and turning off the lights. If food is served at a weekend event, tenants are asked to take the trash to the dumpsters by the garage.

Unlocking the Front Door:

The front door for the 1915 Building is unlocked on weekdays during business hours (Monday- Thursday: 8 am until 5 pm; Friday: 8 am until noon). If your event is on Friday afternoon, in the evening, or on the weekend, let us know if you would like the front door unlocked and for how long you would like it unlocked. This doesn’t have to be for the duration of your event. If your event runs from 8 am until noon, we can unlock the door during the time you anticipate your guests arriving and then lock it once everyone has arrived. For example, we could unlock it at 7:30 am and then lock it at 8:20 am. This would provide your group with added security.

After submitting your room request, you will receive confirmation once your event has been added to the events calendar.
