Empower Campus Tenants

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord is served…Now to each one the presence of the Spirit is given for the common good.” - I Corinthians 12:4-7

Creating a “one-stop ministry mall” requires building partnerships with ministries providing a broad spectrum of services to a diverse community of people. By providing lease rates well below the market and allowing ministry leaders to focus on what they do best, we believe the Empower Campus will improve the services provided throughout our community.

The Community Outreach

The Community Outreach provides services to those in poverty through support with housing, utilities and transportation. The 18-week Genesis program matches a mentor group with an at-risk family to assist in housing, employment, transportation and personal goals.

Boys and Girls Club

We provide developmentally appropriate programs for children that enable each child to grow and learn at their own pace. Each child is given the opportunity for individual development and exploration through an environment that is creative, stimulating and nurturing. The only area agency serving children 4 weeks of age to age 18, BGCSE works to prepare children for the future seemlessly allowing them to move through the organizations programming from infancy to high school graduation.

Center of Hope

The Center of Hope exists to walk alongside people to promote physical and spiritual health. Programs offered include weekly Bible studies, a clothing ministry, a care center with computer access and job-searching tools, the Geared-To-Empower Bike Ministry program, free pastoral counseling, the Center of Hope Free Evening Clinic, hygiene kits, and mother-baby baskets.

CENTER OF HOPE FREE EVENING Clinic

The Center of Hope Free Evening Clinic is a free evening urgent care medical clinic for the uninsured. The clinic strives to minister to the healthcare needs of patients and at the same time offers spiritual care and support by way of sharing biblical principles and truths with, and praying for patients and families. We provide general medical care on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8:30 pm, staffed by either a physician assistant or nurse practitioner and a nurse.

Compassion Child Care

Compassion Child Care exists to strengthen working families so they can experience the fullness of God's love through Jesus Christ. Income-based scholarships are available in order to alleviate the financial burden of child care. CCC is currently open 6 am to 6 pm.

New Haven Ministries

New Haven Ministries offers biblical counseling for individuals and groups as well as counselor and discipleship training. Planning Life which is an extension of New Haven offers crisis pregnancy counseling, relationship counseling, parenting classes and limited ultrasounds. Restoration Services, a program of New Haven, provides addiction counseling.

NATIONS: A MINISTRY OF CRU

"NATIONS exists at campus communities across the country to mentor, tutor, and disciple Native young people (high school, college, young adult), meeting both spiritual and physical needs as they discern their God-given purpose. We aim to give space for Native students to gather together and explore questions about faith, identity, and culture - as well as to consider what it looks like to follow Jesus in ways that are culturally authentic."

New Roots Ministry

New Roots Ministry is "a springboard for immigrants and their churches." It does this through workplace chaplaincy at Smithfield Foods (John Morrell Co.), through bilingual workplace chaplaincy on commercial farms, through teaching Timothy Leadership Training (www.tlti.org), through special seminars offered to educate the Church about issues faced by refugees and immigrants, through equipping of pastors and Christian leaders of churches with mostly immigrant people, and through facilitating service projects in stores owned by refugees and immigrants.

LIFELINE CHILDREN’S SERVICES

Lifeline Children's Services exists to provide a hope and a future through the Gospel for children around the world by discipling, engaging and equipping people towards adoption, foster care and orphan care.

Bethany CHRISTIAN SERVICES

We believe every child deserves to be loved, connected, and empowered through family. Bethany is a global nonprofit that supports children and families with world-class social services, all designed to help families thrive.
